New In Beauty #8 | Christmas Advent Calendars

Hello everyone!

For the past two Christmases, advent calendars have became increasingly popular. Last year there were lots of great advent calendar releases for every budget, and this year there are even more! Today I am going to be showing you advent calendars that I am most excited for this year, including brands such as Makeup Revolution, Tanya Burr, The Body Shop and Charlotte Tilbury.

Benefit Cosmetics Girl O'Clock Rock 12 Days Of Christmas (£34.50)
The first advent calendar I am going to be sharing with you this year is the Benefit 12 Days Of Christmas. I did talk briefly about this calendar in a blog post dedicated to the Benefit Christmas collection, but I am going to talk about it today as well. As far as I can remember, the Benefit advent calendar last year had 24 days in it. In the calendar you get the following items (all of which are mini's): the PoreFessional Primer, They're Real Mascara, Benetint, Posietint, They're Real Remover, It's Potent Eye Cream, Lollibalm, Hoola, Dandelion, Bad Gal Lash Mascara, High Beam and Lollitint.

Tanya Burr 12 Day Beauty Calendar (£25.00)
Next up there is the Tanya Burr advent calendar, which also contains 12 different products. All of the items in this calendar are limited edition and cannot be purchased separately. In the calendar you get items such as nail polishes, lip glosses, glitters and eye liners. This would also make the perfect gift for any YouTube lover this Christmas. I love the original Tanya Burr cosmetics range, so I can't wait to get my hands on this!

Boots No7 Bright Lights Big City (£39.00)
No7 are one of those brands who never fail to impress with their advent calendars. Last years calendar was a big hit with everyone, and this years is going to be even better! You get 24 amazing products, all for under £40. The calendar is worth over £150, so you are getting an absolute bargain with this calendar. I know that this is going to be the one that sells out really quickly, so make sure you get one while their in stock.

L'Occitane Advent Calendar (£42.00)
L'Occitane is a brand that I haven't really tried anything from, but their advent calendar this year looks superb. This advent calendar is packed full of bath and body products. You get 24 products in total, so there will be a treat for every day in December leading up to Christmas. This is the perfect way to try out some of their best selling products, and the price isn't too bad considering it has a £80 value!

Ciate Mini Mani Month (£50.00)
A one for all the nail lovers out there! I love the purple and rose gold packaging of this calendar, definitely my favourite advent calendar packaging that I have seen so far. The calendar has tons of nail polishes, so there will definitely be something in there for everyone. Each day is packaged in its own individual box, which I think is SO cute!

ASOS Advent Calendar (£50.00)
This year is the first time ASOS have released an advent calendar, and I am extremely excited about it. There is such a range of products in this calendar that you definitely won't be disappointed. Inside you get brands such as Jane Iredale, Batiste, Elemis, Yes To, Sleek, Toni & Guy, and Model Co. The worth of this calendar is £175, so you are getting another amazing deal!

Look Fantastic Beauty Secret Volume 2 (£70.00)
This year the Look Fantastic advent calendar is filled with both deluxe sample size and full sized products. There is also a mix of makeup, hair, skin and body products. I just love the rose gold and white theme that they have going on this year. I cannot believe that for £70 you are getting over £300's worth of products, amazing value once again!

BareMinerals Countdown To Gorgeous (£75.00)
This is the first advent calendar to be released from BareMinerals, a brand which I have only tried a handful of products from. Inside there are products such as deluxe sized Marvellous Moxie Lip Glosses, eye shadows mascaras.

Selfridges L'Oreal Eclectic Little Luxuries (£95.00)
This is one of my favourite advent calendars that I have seen so far. Inside this calendar are brands such as YSL, Urban Decay and Lancome. It is on the pricier side but you get a huge range of products in it. I can already tell that this one will sell out quickly.

Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's World Of Legendary Parties (£150.00)
Again, another advent calendar with the prettiest packaging ever. Charlotte Tilbury never seem to disappoint, after their 2015 calendar being very popular. I love that there are little drawers which you pull out to unveil the product. This calendar includes 12 mini and full sized best selling treats, which are going to bring joy to any beauty lover this Christmas!

Jo Malone London Townhouse (£280.00)
Onto the one you've all been waiting for... Jo Malone! The Jo Malone calendar this year retails for a staggering £280. This years advent calendar is designed like a town house, absolutely adorable! It includes lots of exciting treats as well as brand new products. This calendar is very luxurious and definitely wont disappoint:)

I hope that you enjoyed reading about the 2016 beauty advent calendars. Let me know in the comments which one you are most excited for.

Until next time,
