My Current Obsession... | Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit

Hello everyone!

As you can see by the title of this post, I am going to be talking about my obsession right now; the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit. This palette was released around 6 months ago now, so I am late to the bandwagon on that note, but that doesn't stop it from being a stunning highlighter palette!

You get 6 shades in the palette in total and those are:
  • Eclipse (pink champagne pearl with a peach reflect)
  • Luna (mother of pearl with an icy orchid reflect)
  • Spectra (sparkling lilac pearl with an iridescent blue-green reflect)
  • Helia (yellow gold pearl with a turquoise reflect)
  • Orion (blue pearl with a purple amethyst reflect)
  • Lyra (rose gold pearl with a champagne orchid reflect)
The shades have amazing pigmentation and they all look stunning on the cheekbones. You can also use the highlighters wet, and that makes them look super intense and glowy on the face. I have been getting the most use from Eclipse, Luna, Helia and Lyra; and I am actually really pleasantly surprised at how much use I have been getting from Spectra and Orion too!

I'm not going to lie; the palette is a lot smaller than I was expecting for £39. It also doesn't hold that much product. The palette as a whole weighs 4.2g (for comparison, The Balm Mary Lou Highlighter weighs 8.5g and the Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette weighs 9g). It is a shame that there isn't that much product included in the palette, but the shades are beautiful so I'm not complaining too much.

You can see just how pigmented the shades are in the swatches below;

Overall I am absolutely loving this highlighter palette and, if you can get past the lack of product in the palette, then it's definitely worth the purchase just for the beautiful shades! I also think that the shades would work with any skin tone so it is very versatile in that sense too:)
