Spring Ready Lip Picks

Hello everyone!

We are now a few days into Spring, as it officially started on the 20th March in the UK, so I thought it would be very fitting to share some of my favourite Spring lip products. I think that lip products are the perfect way to incorporate some colour into your makeup routine, and the ones I am going to share with you today are definitely Spring ready:)

(Bottom to top: Kat Von D Lovesick, Soap & Glory Choccoberry, GOSH Coral, MUA Peachy Keen & Revlon Flirtation)

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick:
I got this liquid lipstick mini as part of a free gift around Christmas last year, but I have only recently got round to using it. The shade is a lovely tone of mauve and is the perfect lip shade if you want to add a little bit of colour to your makeup without it being too bold. The formula is very thin which makes for an easy application, and it dries down matte very quickly.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip in Choccoberry:
I have tried a few of these matte lip crayons from Soap & Glory and I must say, they are a great addition to my makeup collection. Choccoberry has been a firm favourite of mine for a few months now as it is a very versatile shade. If I want more of a bold lip then I apply this straight from the crayon, but I also like applying it with my finger for a more subtle lip colour. Once it's on your lips it won't be moving all day, and for £3.50 you definitely can't complain!

GOSH Velvet Touch Matte Lipstick in Coral:
GOSH lipsticks have always been a staple in my makeup bag, especially the shade Antique which I use all of the time. I love the shade Coral in both Spring and Summer because it is too pretty not to be used! The GOSH Velvet Touch lipsticks are heavily pigmented and Coral compliments all skin tones beautifully.

MUA Matte Lipstick in Peachy Keen:
If you are in the search for some really affordable lipsticks then MUA are a great option. Their lipsticks cost £1 each, which I think is an absolute steal, and they come in a vast range of shades. Peachy Keen is along similar lines to GOSH's Coral, except this shade is a little lighter. Both are matte and, although this isn't the most luxury lipstick ever, it's a great affordable option.

Revlon Matte Lip Colour in Flirtation:
My final Spring lip pick for this post is a Revlon liquid lipstick which I have recently rediscovered. I absolutely loved this lipstick, along with two other shades, throughout 2016 (I know, it's old!). I wanted to include it as it's a gorgeous Spring shade which looks lovely and lasts even better.

Those are my 5 top Spring lip picks! What are your go to lipsticks for this time of year?

Until next time,
Emily xo
