Morphe Haul

Hello everyone!

I was really sad to see that Morphe had stopped selling their products on Beauty Bay, however that did not stop me shopping their latest products on the Morphe UK website. I have tried some brushes and eye shadow palettes from Morphe but I really want to delve into the other products they have on offer too. I bought a few face products as well as a lip product and, of course, I couldn't resist their makeup brushes and eye shadow palettes:)

Matte Lipstick in Honey (£10.00):
I had no idea that Morphe even sold lip products until I was browsing their website and came across this gorgeous nude matte lipstick. I instantly knew that I had to have it as a love a good nude lip, especially when it's a matte formula! I like stick formula lipsticks for work as I like something that is quick and easy to apply, and something that I can really quickly top up if necessary during the day. This lipstick will no doubt live in my handbag!

M143 Deluxe Soft Fan Brush (£8.00):
I definitely don't need any more makeup brushes but you just can't go wrong with Morphe brushes as they are so affordable and they literally sell every type of brush you could ever need. I own many fan brushes to apply my highlighter with but this fan brush is a lot thicker than one you would apply your highlight with, and therefore I thought it would be good for contouring. I did buy another contour brush (you can never have too many, right?!) but I have seen people use this style of brush for applying their contour with as you just get the most perfect line ever. I will give it a go and report back soon.

M530 Contour Blender Brush (£12.00):
As I mentioned, I did get another contour brush and this time it is just a fluffy round brush for blending out my contour with. Nothing too fancy but I don't actually have a lot of contour brushes so I wanted to experiment with some new ones.

Set 702 12 Piece Eye-Credible Brush Set (£25.00):
Whilst browsing the makeup brushes I came across this really affordable eye brush set and I just couldn't resist is as I am so bad at cleaning my eye brushes and therefore I need as many as I can get! This set contains a range of brushes including blending brushes, detailing brushes and flat brushes for really packing your eye shadow on.

High Impact Highlighter in Lit (£14.00):
I saw that Morphe starting doing highlighters a little while ago and this is the first, but not the last, highlighter I have purchased from them. This is a yellow gold highlighter which I really don't have a lot of in my collection. On initial swatching this is really pigmented and also buttery so I am excited to try this out on my face and see how it performs.

Brontour in Celebutante (£12.00):
I had no idea that Morphe sold this duo until I came across it on the website. These Brontour sets looked really pretty so I wanted to try one out as they are great to have for travelling. I picked up the third shade as the other two looked too light for my skin tone, despite being quite fair myself, and I am glad I did as this is the perfect shade for me. The matte contour shade is perfect for sculpting out the cheekbones however the bronzer shade is more of a subtle bronzey gold highlighter to me, even so I still this it's a pretty duo which I will get a lot of use from.

15D Day Slayer Eye Shadow Palette (£15.00):
I purchased the 15N palette a little while ago and I was really impressed by it  so I decided to pick up the 'daytime' version of the palette also. The shade range is quite similar to the 15N palette however this palette contains more subtle neutrals whereas the 15N contains a few more smouldery shades.

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Ring The Alarm Eye Shadow Palette (£15.00):
Finally, the main reason I was on the Morphe website in the first place was to pick up one of Jaclyn Hill's new gorgeous eye shadow palettes. I was debating whether to buy the vault of 4 palettes but the other 3 palettes weren't really up my street and therefore I wouldn't have used them a great deal and it would have just been a waste of money. I decided on the Ring The Alarm palette as it contains warm toned shades which I wear all of the time, and since it's coming up to Autumn the burgundies are very in season. Stay tuned for a separate post on this, including swatches!

Those were the lovely goodies I bought from Morphe recently. Expect to see most of these in my next 'Currently Loving' post too- especially that gorgeous Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette!

Until next time,
