Bits I Bought For Starting Uni | Stationery Haul

Hello everyone!

If you live in the UK then you will know that September marks the start of semester at most Universities. You may also know that this month is when I will be starting my first year at Uni - how exciting! In preparation I headed out to my local shopping centre to pick up all of the stationery bits I'm going to need, and in this post I'm going to share them all with you.

Pukka Pad A4 Project Book (£14.75):
Of course it wouldn't be a stationery haul without some good old Pukka Pads. The reason I love these so much is because they have dividers already in them so you can section off your notes into units, plus you can take the dividers out and re position them wherever you like depending on how much space you need in each section.

Zebra Ballpoint Black Pens Pack of 10 (£5.99):
I think it goes without saying that black pens are a must have for any Uni student. I am studying Nursing so having lots of pens is especially important because I know that I'm always going to lose them when I'm on placement.

WHSmith Pastel Pink 38mm Rollbound Ring Binder Folder (£3.19):
I also picked up two variations of folders, the first being a ring binder folder. Ring binder folders are great for storing all of your loose papers in so that they don't get damaged or jumbled up in the bottom of your bag.

WHSmith Pink A4 Expanding Organiser (£5.99):
The other file I bought is this expanding organiser which is perfect for separating materials into sections. I really like the fact that this file comes with coloured labels which you can add to the tabs in order to label each compartment. Plastic files are also a great option in case you have any spillages in your bag as they will protect your papers.

WHSmith Small Black Stapler (£3.99) & WHSmith Staples (£1.99):
I picked up this really cute miniature stapler alongside a box of staples because I can guarantee I will absolutely need one of these on hand for stapling all of my assignments together. I didn't want to buy a full sized stapler because it wouldn't be the best for taking to and from Uni so I settled on this tiny version.

WHSmith Small Black Hole Punch (£3.99):
Another miniature stationery item I bought is a hole punch because if I'm going to be putting papers in my ring binder I am obviously going to need to punch holes in them first. Again this is great for taking in your bag because it isn't heavy at all like the full sized hole punchers are.

Stabilo Highlighters 4 Pack (£2.77):
Highlighters are an absolute necessity for any student for marking important phrases and key words in documents. You really can't go wrong with Stabilo highlighters as they last for absolutely ages and the colours are really vibrant.

WHSmith 2019/2020 A5 Diary (£8.99):
Last but not least, I bought this gorgeous academic 2019/2020 diary from WHSmith. I love being organised and this diary is perfect for writing in all of my Uni assignments. Plus you get a page per day so lots of space to write your all important notices. Unfortunately I couldn't find the diary on the WHSmith website but I've actually found it for cheaper on eBay anyway.

Those were all of the stationery pieces I picked up for starting Uni and I hope that this post gave you some inspiration on some of the things you might need. Are you starting University this year?
