Currently Loving | Kylie Cosmetics, Victoria's Secret, Soap & Glory and More...

Hello everyone!

I always forget to do my monthly favourites so today I am going to be talking about everything that I am loving at the moment. I did try to do monthly favourites but I forgot after the first month! I have quite a few favourites to share with you, and the majority are beauty related:)

Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara (£7.99)
I am in LOVE with this mascara! I love Rimmel mascaras and this new addition is great. This mascara tints the lashes over time, but this is not noticeable on my lashes because they are already naturally dark. This adds tons of length and volume to my lashes, and it doesn't make them go crispy either. This is my favourite mascara that Rimmel have ever released and I will repurchase when I have used this up.

Various Kylie Cosmetics products!
I wanted to include my Kylie Jenner lip products in this post because I am still loving them. I have been getting the most use from Dolce K, but I have been using Candy K and Literally too! If you want to read more on my Kylie lip kits and gloss then you can click here:)

Victoria's Secret Body Spray in Amber Romance (£15.00)
I was in my local Tesco when I found this Victoria's Secret body spray. I was so happy because I tried to order some from the Victoria's Secret website but there were so many reasons why I couldn't ship them to the UK. They only had one scent in store but they have tons more online, so I will definitely be ordering a few more. .... smells gorgeous and I would definitely recommend you pick this scent up. I have nearly finished this bottle and I will definitely be repurchasing.

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Eye Shadow Palette (£8.00)
I have been getting so much use out of this palette recently. I have already done a blog post on this palette, which you can read here, but I wanted to include it in this post anyway. All of the shades are really wearable, which I never thought they would be, and I have really been stepping out of my comfort zone and doing some lovely eye looks!

L'Oréal Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette (£9.99)
I have been trying lots of different contour products recently and one that has really stood out for me is the L'Oréal Infallible Sculpt palette. I have talked about this palette before (read about it here) and I said how much I loved this product. This is the only ever cream to powder contour product I have tried before and I absolutely love it! Both shades are really creamy and set as a powder finish almost instantly. The only thing I would say about this is that, unlike other cream contour products, you do need to blend this out fairly quickly as it does set really fast.

Montagne Jennesse Tea Tree Peel Off Face Masks (£1.00 each)
I love having pamper evenings where I apply a really nice face mask. I have been loving the Montagne Jennesse peel off face masks, particularly the tea tree ones. I love the feeling when you have had a face mask on for a long time and you peel it off your skin! I really recommend you try out these face masks as they aren't expensive and are great for a pamper evening.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Hand Food (£2.50 for the mini size)
My hands have been so dry recently and this Soap & Glory hand cream has been my LIFE SAVER! I absolutely love the scent of the Sugar Crush range. I just have a little mini version of the hand cream, and it lives in my handbag so I always have it when I'm out and about.

B. Cosmetics Whipped Blush in Peach (£7.99)
I believe that this blush came out last Spring in the B. Sweet range. I love this blush because it is a gorgeous peachy shade, which is perfect for Summer! It is a cream formula but sets as a powder finish. The packaging is really cute too:)

Soap & Glory Supercat Felt Tip Eyeliner (£6.00)
I have been into winged eyeliner so much recently. I have been practising winged eyeliner all the time, and I have finally perfected it! I love felt tip eyeliners as I find that they are really easy to use and manoeuvre around the eye because the tip is really thin so you can line your eyes really precisely. I love the Soap & Glory Supercat because it glides on really easily and evenly. This lasts really well, I don't think it's water proof but it takes a LOT of scrubbing to come off.

Korres Volcanic Minerals Long Lasting Eyeliner in 03 Metallic Brown (£9.00)
Another eyeliner is from Korres, but I don't actually use this as an eyeliner. The name of this eyeliner is Metallic Brown, but it really doesn't look brown. It is more of a purple mauve shade. I have been using this all over my eyes as a really quick and easy eye shadow. This is really creamy and blends out really well too.

River Island Khaki Bomber Jacket (£45.00)
I recently got a khaki bomber jacket from River Island (buy it here). I wanted a lightweight jacket that I can wear in the Summer, and this one is perfect! I love the colour of this and it is perfect to throw on with a white t shirt and some ripped jeans.

That is everything that I have been loving recently! Let me know in the comments what you have been loving:)

Updated Makeup Collection 2016

Hello everyone!

Since I did my last makeup collection my collection has grown quite a bit, I thought it would be the perfect time to do an updated makeup collection. I will link all of the non makeup items at the end of this post too.

My dressing table is still the same as last time, from Argos, but I have changed the way I store all of my products. I have recently sorted out all of my dressing table, so it is a little bit organised!

Throughout this post I will be pointing out some of my favourite makeup products as it would be impossible to show you every single product in this post:)

The top of my dressing table...
I have a number of things on the top of my dressing table. Starting with the left hand side I have a photo frame with my signed Justin Bieber Purpose CD cover in. I tried my best to photograph the signature but it was signed in gold Sharpie so it was quite hard to photograph. In front of the photo frame I have my Bluetooth speaker. If you are interested in buying one then I have linked it at the end of this post.

In the centre of my dressing table I have my main mirror which is the same as the one I had in my previous makeup collection post. In front of the mirror on the left side I have a pot with all of my coloured pens and pencils in. Next to those I have a little jewellery box with all of my everyday jewellery in. In front of the little jewellery box I have a Victoria's Secret body spray and two mini Versace perfumes. And on the right side of the jewellery box I have all of my makeup brushes.

Hidden away behind my main mirror I have an illuminated No7 mirror. I use this to do my makeup but it is actually cracked so I need to buy a new one.

On the very right side of my dressing table I have a MUJI 5 drawer acrylic drawer. Inside I have all of my lip products. You can actually fit loads of lip products in the drawers because they go really far back. I used to keep my lipsticks in one of my drawers but I bought so many that I can't fit them in there any more! I will show you some more photos of inside the drawers further on in this post.

Inside the first drawer...
In my first drawer I have all of my base products. That is all of my primers, foundations, concealers, powders and setting sprays.

I have tried quite a few primers and some of my favourite are the Benefit PoreFessional, L'Oreal Infallible Mattifying primer and the Rimmel Lasting Finish primer.

I don't really have that many concealers, I just like to stick to those which I like. I don't actually like the Collection Lasting Perfection but I still have it because I am trying to use it up. My favourite concealer is the Benefit Boi-ing because it has a really high coverage, although it takes a lot of blending so that it doesn't crease!

It is actually quite difficult to choose a favourite foundation because all of the ones I own I absolutely love. I really like the Revlon Colorstay in the Winter because it is one of my paler foundations, and I also like the No7 Beautifully Matte for all year round.

I have tons of the Rimmel Stay Matte powders, so they are obviously my favourites, but I also like the Rimmel Clear Complexion too. I also have a Collection powder and a few other random brands like MUA.

The only setting sprays I currently own are the L'Oreal Infallible fixing mists. I used to have the MAC Fix+ but it ran out and I haven't repurchased it yet. I just have them slipped in a space between two baskets because I only have 2 so they don't really need a designated container for them.

Inside the second drawer...
In the second drawer I have all of my cheek products; blushers, bronzers and highlighters. I also have all of my mascaras, eyeliners and brow products in there too.

In one basket I have all of my mascaras and eye brow products, although I only have about 5 of those! I have absolutely tons of mascaras and one of my favourites is the Rimmel Volume Colourist, which is fairly new. I am also a fan of the Rimmel Scandal Eyes and Benefit They're Real. For eyebrow products, I have a few different brands but my favourite is the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara.

In the larger basket I have my cheek products. My favourite contour duo is the L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt. My favourite blusher is either the Benefit Rockateur or Dandelion. I also have lots more brands including MAC, Korres, Seventeen, Makeup Revolution and Sleek.

In between the two containers I also have the Smashbox #ShapeMatters palette. I got this for Christmas and I think that this is a great multi use palette; it has a bronzer, contour shade, highlighter, 9 eye shadows and 3 eyebrow products.

Behind that basket I have a thin container with eye liners in. I don't use them very often, only on special occasions, but I have a few different brands. I have a Soap & Glory Supercat eyeliner, some coloured MUA liners and a few from Korres too.

Inside the third drawer...
In the final drawer with makeup in I have all of my eye shadows; singles and palettes.

The first basket has single eye shadows and cream shadows that I use as bases. Some of my favourites are the Maybelline Colour Tattoos and a golden shade from Korres.

The second basket has all of my palettes and quads in, apart from the Makeup Revolution palette that is slipped at the back of the drawer. Inside the basket I have the Naked 3 and the Naked Smoky, as well as a big MAC palette and a MAC quad. I also have a few MUA palettes and a Sleek one.

Inside my MUJI drawers...
I now store all of my lip products in 5 MUJI drawers. Like I said earlier, I used to keep them inside my dressing table but my collection has grown so much that I can't fit them all in. On top of the MUJI drawers I have two lipstick holders. The one on the left has all of my MAC lipsticks and the one on the right has my I Heart Makeup lipsticks. My favourite MAC lipsticks are Brave, Angel and Flat Out Fabulous.

I have my lipsticks slightly colour co-ordinated so that it is really easy for me to find a certain shade of lipstick.

The top drawers has all of my nude lipsticks in. This is the drawer that I tend to lean towards the most because I find that all of the shades are very easy to wear every day.

In the next drawer I have all of my pink lipsticks. I don't really wear many of the shades from this drawer, but I still have quite a few!

Then below that I have coral lipsticks. This is the drawer that I lean mostly towards in the Summer.

In the second to last drawer there is all of my darker lipstick shades; so purples and reds. I love this drawer for the Winter and Autumn time.

Finally, in the last draw I have lots of random tools like tweezers, nail scissors and sharpeners.

Nordic Dressing Table (£129.99 from Argos)
Dressing table mirror (£24.99 from Argos)
No7 Illuminated Mirror (£49.99 from Boots)
Makeup brush holder (£2.00 from Ikea)
MUJI Acrylic Box 5 Drawers (£24.95 from MUJI)
Photo frame with signed Justin Bieber CD cover (£1.50 from Asda)
Gear4 HouseParty Go! 2 Bluetooth speaker (£99.99 from Argos)
Draw organisers (£1.58+ from Lakeland)

I hope you enjoyed my updated makeup collection post. Let me know what other posts you would like to see next on my blog:)

Until next time,

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Palette Swatches & Review

Hello everyone!

I picked this palette up from Superdrug a few weeks ago. This palette has everything in it that you will ever need; neutrals, pinks, purples, blues, greens and so much more. I thought that I wouldn't really get much use from the more colourful shades, but I have actually been using them more than the neutral shades.

Some of my favourite shades are: Seashell, Future, Starfish, Ariel, Pink Sea, Urchin, Princess and Mineral. I absolutely love this palette and it is definitely one of my favourites that I own! I was honestly really skeptical about most of the shades in the palette but I have been getting so much use from it.

The eye shadows are all really creamy, pigmented and blend out really easily. For £8 this palette is amazing and definitely worth picking up! I love the names of all the shades too:)

Now on to the swatches...

I hope that you enjoyed this blog post! Let me know if you have tried this palette, and of course what you thought of it:)

Beauty Wish List #4

Hello everyone!

There have been lots of new beauty releases recently, and today I am going to share with you some of the products that are on my wish list. Some of the products I mention are brand new in stores, and some have been out for a while. Wish lists are one of my favourite posts to do, and I hope that you enjoy reading them:)

Urban Decay Beached Bronzer (£20.00)
I believe that this bronzer is new in stores. I seen Gabby from VelvetGh0st use this in one of her tutorials, and I just think that this looks gorgeous. From watching many tutorials, it looks like this bronzer gives the perfect sun kissed glow for Summer. We don't get much sun in the UK, so I always need a good bronzer to warm up my skin!

Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly eye shadow palette (£27.00)
I am not even sure if this palette is still available to buy because it is sold out on every website, but I still wanted to include it. The reason this palette appeals to me is because I would actually use every shade in this palette. A lot of the time eye shadow palettes have shades in that I wouldn't use, but the shades in this palette would be very wearable for me. This palette looks really pretty and I hope that you can still buy it!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit (£39.00)
I have wanted this palette for the LONGEST time EVER! I have been obsessed with contouring recently and I need a high end palette that I can use for contour. I do love drugstore contour products, but this palette is so raved about that I feel like I really need to try it out. As far as I know, every single person that has tried this palette has loved it. It is on the pricier side, but it's worth the money so I will definitely pick it up at some point.

Becca Jaclyn Hill Highlighter in Champagne Pop (£32.00)
From the moment I saw this highlighter in Fleur DeForce's video, I was absolutely blown away! I never usually highlight my cheekbones because I have never found the perfect highlight, but I think this may be it. I have heard, however, that it cracks really easily. Let me know if I should get this highlighter in the comments!

Sleek Cream Contour Kit (£10.99)
Like I said before, I have been obsessed with contouring recently. I have only tried a few cream contour products, and I am so intrigued to try this new one from Sleek. This palette is £10.99, so it is on the affordable side, and you get 6 different shades in the palette. I feel like this palette would be really easy to work with... I guess I will have to buy it so that I can report back:)

Sleek Matte Me Lip Gloss (£4.99)
I love matte lipsticks, as you all probably know by now, and these new lip products from Sleek look very interesting. I am most interested to see how these lip products are matte, as they are described as lip glosses on the website. Usually lip glosses have a sheen to them, but these are matte. Most of the shades are on the nude side, so I think that I would really like these.

Rimmel London Sculpting Palette by Kate (£6.99)
Loads of drugstore brands are releasing sculpting palettes. I think that a really good post idea would be if I compare all of the new sculpting palettes that have recently been released. That is one of the main reasons why this is on my wish list. But, I also do want to try it out as I normally love Rimmel products. You do actually get a blush in the palette as well as a contour and highlight shade. Most of the sculpting palettes which have just been released don't have a blush in them, so I think that this is a nice little added extra!

Soap & Glory Brow Archery Volume Boost Brow Fibre Gel (£8.00)
I have been loving brow gels because my brows are already quite full but I do like to set them into place with a gel so that there are no sparse hairs. Soap & Glory are well known for their amazing brow products, so I would love to try this out to see if it's just as good.

Beauty Blender (£16.00)
I cannot believe that they have started selling Beauty Blenders in Boots! I have always been a brush girl, but I have wanted to try a Beauty Blender for the longest time. Everybody always talks about how Beauty Blenders have changed their lives. Every beauty guru on YouTube uses some sort of makeup sponge, and I definitely need to get in on the hype. Apparently these give a flawless coverage which is a lot better than what a makeup brush can give. If you have tried a Beauty Blender, let me know what you thought of it.

Beauty Blender Cleanser (£15.00)
To go along with the sponge, I also have the cleanser on my wish list. This is nearly the same price as the sponge itself, but I am really interested to see if it would clean the sponge better than the cleanser I use to wash my brushes. I am also intrigued to see if this cleanser can clean makeup brushes too:) I believe that you can also get a solid cleanser, but I couldn't find that one on the Boots website.

Benefit Cosmetics Cheekathon blush kit (£44.50)
I have seen so many pictures of this blush kit on Instagram, and I just love it! I love Benefit blushes and I think that this kit is the best thing that they have ever came out with. You get five of their best selling blushes in one set; what else could you need?!

Leave a comment with what is on your beauty wish list!

The Beauty Lover Tag

Hello everyone!

I love a good beauty related tag, so I have probably done this tag before! I used to do tags all the time when I first started my blog, and if I have done this tag before then I have probably deleted it by now.

1. If you could have your makeup done by anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Mario Dedivanovic. If you didn't know, then he is Kim Kardashian's makeup artist. I would love to have my makeup done by him because Kim's makeup always looks flawless.

2. What's your top makeup tip?
I don't really know if this is a tip, and I think many people might know this anyway but... Do your eye makeup (shadow, mascara and eyeliner) before your foundation and this is useful in two ways. Firstly, if you have any eye shadow fall out then you can easily wipe it up without messing up your foundation. Secondly, if you mess up then you can wipe it all off and start again:)

3. What one makeup item could you not live without?
It is SO hard to choose just one item! If I HAD to choose then I would probably say mascara because it makes me look more awake and makes my eyes look bigger too.

4. What one skincare item could you not live without?
I would have to say the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for this one. This is so good because it removes all makeup, including water proof mascara, and it cleanses the skin at the same time. Obviously I use other skincare products as well as this but if I could only choose one then this is a great multi use product!

5. What are you worst at when it comes to applying makeup?
Winged eyeliner! I used to be really good at this but when I got glasses I stopped doing winged eyeliner because I thought it was pointless. I guess that over time I just forgot how to do it. I am trying to perfect my eyeliner game again though!

6. What's your biggest pet peeve when it comes to beauty?
I don't know if this counts as a pet peeve, but some makeup brands are SO expensive! I don't mind paying a little extra for a good high end product, but sometimes the products aren't any better than drugstore versions.

7. What's your favourite makeup era?
I would have to say the 60s; a classic red lip!

8. What's your guilty pleasure product?
I can't decide between lipsticks and mascaras. I own way too many of each but yet I still continue to buy more.

9. What's your underdog product?
I think that the No7 Beautifully Matte foundation doesn't get mentioned enough! I absolutely LOVE this foundation but I don't see it mentioned in many blog posts, which is quite sad. It deserves way more recognition because it is an amazing foundation.

10. What was your favourite product of 2015?
Ooo this is tough! I did a 2015 beauty favourites post (read it here). If I had to choose just one product from that post then I would probably choose the Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette. I use this all the time and I think that it has a great range of shades in it, so there is something for everyone! You can create quite natural day time looks with this palette as well as smoky evening looks.

I hope that you liked this little tag, I certainly enjoyed writing it! If you do this tag then leave a link in the comments so that I can read your post:)

Until next time,
Emily xo
