2018 Favourites

Hello everyone!

It's the beginning of a New Year and that means one thing- I must do a round up of all of my favourites from 2018! I have quite a lot of products to get through in this post so sit back and relax...

Urban Decay Born To Run Palette (£39.50):
This is actually one of the newest makeup additions in my collection. I wasn't going to include this as I haven't been using it the whole year, but I have been using it religiously since I got it. I got this in October so have been using it for the best part of 2 months and it has got to be my favourite Urban Decay palette to date. I have all of the Naked palettes, apart from the latest one which I will be picking up soon, but the shade range in this palette is the best. As you all probably know I love a good warm toned eye look so this palette is perfect for that plus all of the shades have great pigmentation to them.

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (£24.00):
For a long time I refused to use setting spray because I believed that they were a scam and didn't really do anything for your makeup. However, ever since I have used the Urban Decay All Nighter I now think that if you buy the right one then it can do wonders for your makeup. I highly recommend this setting spray as my makeup lasts at least 14 hours, if not longer, when I spritz this at the end of my makeup routine. Now I know what all the hype was about!

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Blood Sugar Palette (£46.00):
This year I really experimented with my makeup and tried shades that I had never tried before. This time last year I probably would have stuck with the more neutral shades in the palette but those reds and burgundies are to die for! The pigmentation is definitely what is expected from a Jeffree Star product as well- so intense!

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Skin Frost in Sarcophagus (£25.50):
Another Jeffree Star product I have loved pretty much all year is the gorgeous Sarcophagus highlighter. This is the second highlighter of his that I own and the pigmentation is honestly one of the best I've ever tried. These truly are blinding and I definitely will be expanding my collection in the near future.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer (£25.50):
A product which has been in my collection for a quite a while now but something I only just started using this year is the Hoola bronzer by Benefit. I have really been liking the tanned look this year and this bronzer has been the perfect natural way to do that. It isn't orange unlike some bronzers and can be built up for a more bronzed look.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Sugar Glow Kit (£41.00):
It is no secret that I am an absolute highlighter junkie- if it's sparkly I NEED to get my hands on it! I do love the JSC highlighters, as I have mentioned so many times on this blog now, but another brand that does blinding highlighters is Anastasia Beverly Hills. I have 3 of their Glow Kits and Sugar is my favourite because the shades are very wearable. I also really like that there are shades for all skin types, so I can use this when I'm very pale or super tanned. That glittery packaging also just screamed to me- I love anything glittery haha.

Morphe M530 Contour Blender (£12.00):
For such a long time I would only use Real Techniques brushes to apply my makeup but Morphe has really taken off in the beauty community this year. One brush which has particularly stood out is their contour brush which makes my bronzer look airbrushed on- that's just how soft the brush is! It's the perfect size for contouring and bronzing the face, definitely a staple in my makeup bag that's for sure.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eye Shadow Palette (£43.00):
I FINALLY tried an Anastasia Beverly Hills palette! I featured this on a blog post as soon as I got it as I was so excited, and it definitely went down a treat with me. I love these shades (who doesn't love a good nude?!) and they are so powdery that they blend out so well.

Too Faced Natural Nude Lipstick in Nip Slip (£18.00):
Last but not least, the final item that I have been obsessed with in 2018 is this Too Faced lipstick in the shade Nip Slip. I am all for my Jeffree Star liquid lips but when I am in a rush or doing a more natural makeup look then I do like to just throw on a solid lipstick, especially something with a sheen such as this shade.

Those are my favourite products of the year. What have you been loving in 2018?

Until next time,
