Currently Loving #14

Hello everyone!

It hasn't been too long since my previous 'Currently Loving' post but I have a few products which I have been loving lately, and I thought it would be worthwhile sharing them with you today.

Milani Strobelight Instant Glow Powder in Afterglow (£13.00):
I hadn't treat myself to a new highlighter in quite some time so when I saw this gorgeous highlighter on Beauty Bay recently I knew that I had to pick one up and try it out for myself. I had never tried Milani highlighters before now but the swatches which I have seen online are absolutely stunning, so I had no doubt in my mind that I would love this. I have the shade Afterglow which is a champagne shade. The pigmentation on this highlighter is amazing and it looks gorgeous on the skin. I definitely need to try some more shades!

Morphe R36 Pointed Highlight Brush (£9.00):
To go alongside my new highlighter I treat myself to a new highlighter brush. I have always wanted to try a tulip shaped brush for applying my highlighter with as it's supposed to apply the highlighter seamlessly; and I can now see why so many people prefer these brushes over the classic fan brush. To be honest I don't think I will be using a fan brush again for my highlighter because this just doesn't compare.

Morphe 15N Night Master Palette (£15.00):
I spotted this palette under the 'back in stock' section on Beauty Bay so I figured it must be a good palette if it keeps going out of stock. I took my opportunity to snap up one of these palettes and I am very glad with that decision. The shades in this palette are everything that I go for on a day to day basis. What I like about this palette is that there are neutral shades which can be used to create a soft everyday look, and there are some darker glam shades which make a stunning smokey eye. My favourite shades so far are Unique, Illustrated, Creativity, Cliche and Excuse Me.

Primark Bee Backpack (£10.00):
I featured this gorgeous backpack in my 'Summer Holiday Haul' blog post, but I just had to feature it in this post as well because I am obsessed with it. I was planning on keeping this to use as my carry on bag when I go on holiday but I couldn't help myself, I just had to use it before then! The bee design is really on trend right now so no doubt this is going to be a very popular product over the coming weeks and months. I only wish Primark would let you shop online- there are so many other products I want to get my hands on as well!

Impulse Body Mist in Burnt Marshmallow & Leather Jacket (£6.99):
The name of this body mist is quite strange if I'm honest, but that doesn't change the fact it smells absolutely gorgeous. I definitely need to get my hands on some more of these body mists because if this one is anything to go by they are a hidden gem! I picked mine up on offer in Boots for just £1, but they usually retail for around £7 which is great because you don't need to use a lot of the product to get a strong long-lasting fragrance.

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipstick in Deceased (£16.00):
Jeffree Star Cosmetics liquid lipsticks are my all time favourite lipsticks, and whilst doing a recent Beauty Bay shop I knew that I had to add another shade to my collection. I decided upon the shade Deceased, a cool-toned light mauve, which is a shade I wouldn't usually go for. I do tend to stick to nudes but I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and get a shade which I don't have anything like in my collection. I am very happy with my decision as this shade looks great on the lips, if I do say so myself:)

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Hand Held Mirror Blow Pony (£22.00):
I've been debating whether to buy one of the JSC hand held mirrors ever since they were released- but I thought it would be very useful to take travelling with me in case I don't have a mirror available to do my makeup in. There are so many pretty colours but I decided on the lovely lilac mirror, as purple is my favourite colour, and I am completely obsessed with this. This was a great addition to my JSC collection.

Nomadic Dairy Yogurt & Oats Clusters Pots (£1.35 each):
I never usually feature food in these posts but I just couldn't leave these delicious yogurt and oats clusters pots out- they're delicious! I discovered these about two months ago and ever since I have been obsessed with them. At the moment they come in three flavours; chocolate, strawberry and blueberry & blackcurrant. Of course the chocolate pots are my favourite, because who doesn't love chocolate, but I do enjoy all three of the flavours.

Real Techniques Brush Crush 300 Powder (£12.99):
I cannot resist treating myself to new makeup brushes- especially when they're as pretty as this one! Purple is my favourite colour and I love glitter, so when I saw this brush I just had to get it. Just like every other Real Techniques brush, the bristles are super soft and feels really high quality too. I am definitely going to be finishing off my collection soon.

Makeup Revolution Pro Matte Lip Pigment in Pretence (£4.00):
Makeup Revolution have recently released a new makeup line and because I am obsessed with nude lipsticks I knew that I had to try a lip product out from the range. The Matte Lip Pigments are very popular so I was expecting good things from them. I picked up the shade Pretence which is the classic nude shade that I wear on a daily basis. I was really impressed with the pigmentation of this lipstick as one coat is very opaque and offers full coverage. They are a little drying, but that's to be expected with matte lipsticks, and they last fairly well. The lasting power isn't as much as my Jeffree Star Liquid Lipsticks but they do last a decent amount of time. I am definitely going to look at picking up some more shades- maybe even some bolder shades which I wouldn't usually go for:)

Those are all of the lovely things I have been loving recently! Let me know in the comments what you've been loving:)

Until next time,
